Ward was born on the 15th of April 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. When she completed the requirements for high school she transferred to River Oaks High School in the summer during her junior year. In the school, she was a part of the dance and drill team. Following graduation, she briefly went to Northeast Louisiana University. Ward started modeling when she was thirteen. She left school to move to New York. In the years following she decided to pursue acting. The first time she appeared on stage was in an uncredited character in 1970's soap-opera All My Children, and then was cast as an teen drama for NBC Premier-Time Malibu Shores. The daytime soap Sunset Beach cast Ward as the virgin Meg Cummings in late 1996. Alongside her direct-to-DVD roles, Ward also made several guest appearances on TV programs like Friends. She was the main actor in ABC Family's drama show Make It or Break It for the first two seasons in the year 2009. In 2009, she got the role Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teenage gymna. Her personal life was a bit more complicated. got married to producer David C. Robinson and she had a son called Cameron together with him.
